


The episode spoofs the super hero trope, specifically Batman’s trope, and they use Batman’s voice to do so. The Stinger – voiced by Batman and looks like him tooīefore anything it must be known that The Stinger is voiced by Kevin Conroy, the quintessential voice of Batman as an animated character. Turbo then realizes the only way to get rid of a super hero is with a super villain. They then continue to correct petty crimes, like not wearing a helmet and not recycling, eventually running Turbo ragged. Turbo is recruited as a sidekick to fight injustice by the urbang legend ‘The Stinger.’ The Stinger and his sidekick Shell Boy, aka Turbo, begin their fight by demanding cheaper popcorn prices at the theater. This was a good first episode of the season and has convinced me to watch the movie and the previous season. Also the embodiment of binge watching and spoiler alerts is comedic on any level. It’s a simple thing, but very clever and masterfully done. The Gossip Snail, voiced by Sarah Hyland, was not only the central focus of the characters in the show, but masterfully narrated the episode and guided the characters into the best course of action.

However, the subtleties in the writing are surprisingly intricate and complex. The cartoon is very zany and a bit reminiscent of the over active characters like Spongebob.

She has a gift and knows how to get the best out of her actors to really embody the character they are voicing. If you don’t know who she is, you likely know her work from another animated show or feature of some kind. What immediately got me excited for the show was seeing Andrea Romano as the voice director.
